Meet Sarah

I’ve always been known as the ‘yes’ friend. The one who will say yes to a last-minute trip to Alaska or a 100-mile trek in Europe or meeting up with 20 strangers in Peru, all true. If a friend mentions it, I want to make it happen. More than that, I want to provide as many opportunities for women to get out there and see this gorgeous world around us. Which is why I love hosting women’s trips! It is incredible watching strangers become friends over the course of a few hours. My goal with this rafting trip is to encourage YOU to try something new with a bunch of besties who want to do the same.”

Meet Caitlynn

”I went rafting for the first time two summers ago, and I actually can’t shut up about it. I wasn’t sure if I would like it because I was worried about being trapped on a boat all day and feeling bored. BUT it was the time of my life. I got to sit on the boat, enjoy some fun beverages, take in the beautiful scenery, jump in the water, and spend the night under the stars. It was truly a life-changing trip, and now I’m trying to convince all of my friends that we need to do yearly rafting trips. So FRIEND, come with me and let’s go on an adventure!”

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a good trip for beginners?

Absolutely! I (Sarah) have never been on an overnight rafting trip, but Caitlynn (my co-host and a trusted adventure buddy) has gone on plenty! This three-day, two-night trip is the perfect introduction for anyone who wants to start rafting, but it’ll also be fun for those who have been rafting before.

Yes, please! You’ll meet plenty of new adventure enthusiasts and bad-ass ladies on the trip. We’ll spend our time laughing and adventuring together – the best kind of bonding!

You can meet us at the Deschutes Rafting Co. Headcarders the morning of the trip, or spend the night at Oasis Cabin Resort in Maupin the night before!

Deschutes Rafting Co. provides all meals from lunch on your first day to lunch on your last day. They offer a spread of in-season meals, including fresh fruits, veggies, and meats. Expect to see breakfasts like blueberry pancakes or breakfast burritos. Lunches include build-your-own sandwiches and wraps. For dinner, we might enjoy things like grilled steaks, tri-tip, tacos, or kebabs, along with salads and apps. We finish every night off with dessert – because duh! DRC does its best to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any concerns or needs!

Let’s talk money…
