After moving to Washington, I was SO excited to have more hiking opportunities. So when I was shopping for new hiking gear at the Flagship REI Store in Downtown Seattle I took some time to look at their book section. 

That is where I found “100 Classic Hikes of Washington” by Craig Romano, originally put together by Ira Springs and Harvey Manning. A collection of the best, most unique, and legacy trails across the entire state. 

I slowly started working through the book in 2020, but in 2022 I decided to commit to completing every trail in the book. 

Completing these trails has taken me to remote areas in Washington that I never would have explored. Now, I am over halfway done with my goal and I’m so excited to be able to share this journey with others!
